After the successful first edition of the Instagrammers Meeting of Ile des Deux Cocos, and 3 months later came the time for a second edition of the InstaMeet in Mauritius. Again, the Lux Resorts took the lead and organized this 2nd edition in another of their hotels in Bel Ombre: The Tamassa Resort. As a well planned occasion, this event was also participating in the International Instameets around the world, the WWIM12, with the common hashtags of #todayimet and #whomifollow! It was time for an evening instameet at Tamassa Resort!
The Rendez-Vous was set in the early afternoon at the Resort and most of us showed up right on time. At 14:30 we gathered for a quick after-lunch and some refreshments before proceeding to a guided visit around the resort with the Lux buddies! Had the chance to taste their famous icecreams, visit their Chef’s Truck with those delicious burgers, a stroll around the LuxMe spa area, the Playa restaurant and other places here and there. The Hotel does look appealing for some holidays indeed!
By 17:00 in the afternoon we gathered round the Playa’s front for some refreshments and some chats while waiting for the sunset. Unfortunately it was cloudy over the horizon and the most awaited blazing sunset moment turned out to be a dramatic sunset, but it was as great as well. Round 19:00 we bid farewell to each others and proceeded back home. It was all fun and nice to participate in such gatherings and meet the instafriends as well. Thumbs up to another great day!
